Why is Halo waypoint so hated by B-net?
I mean seriously. Just a question but I've noticed this forum carries a lot of hate for them.

I'd use those forums as well if the forums actually let me. There seems to be some sort of glitch with my account to do with verification (even though I used to post on Waypoint all the time), and now I'm not able to access it.

I see a lot of people say that they were banned for having a different opinion about 343i and Halo 4... That quite frankly is a load of crap. People are fine to post whatever they want there, as long as it's on topic and constructive. Being an immature 12 year old isn't helping anyone, and to be honest I'm glad if they banned you. The moderating team isn't perfect; no moderating team ever is. They're just regular community people who enforce an absolute no flaming/leak/whatever rule.

Got banned for saying some guy didn't earn his recon with Vidmasters, so he didn't have a right to wear it. Also, got banned for called the mods the censorship of Communist China. Also, got banned for saying Reach-blam!-s (only ban I understand).

There are a few legitimate threads, but criticise someone for their carebear whining, and it's the banhammer. I've never been a frequent poster on these forums, I'm more of a lurker, and I ventured into the Waypoint forums to lurk a little and it was all hate. Walls and walls of text and hate. I imagine some people are replacing LCD monitors for all the spittle that was flying in sheer rage. The thing is, most people like Halo 4 and are playing the game, while the minority of people clog the forums with whining about how people keep killing them with the DMR and so it has to be nerfed, or they can't get a kill with the AR so it has to be buffed.... it's same-old same-old trash talk from players that can't figure out that multiplayer gaming is supposed to cater than more people than just themselves. I like these forums - I haven't been to the B-net for a long time, not since Reach, as I've been incredibly busy with a masters degree and a PhD thesis, but I get a new game and check out the forums to mingle with the community... but there's no mingling. I don't think it's possible for your online defeat to be anymore secure. OT: I dislike Waypoint because they're Forum staff is to uptight and the format is not that appealing. However, they're still relatively new, so they have a ways to go.

The only thing I dislike is the Website's layout. I already have terribly slow internet so all the crap that's suppose to make Waypoint look all smooth and cool doesn't help.
