Recently been arguing with a friend over this and he thinks it is definitely warhammer as the most powerful.
I disagree and say stargate is quite possibly the most powerful.
Which sci-fi universe is the most powerful in terms of strength, tech and numbers combined?
Edit:who necrobumped this? It's 2 years old.

Warhammer or Star Wars Anything else, and you're lying to yourself

Powerful in which way?

Stargate Considering that the Replicators are almost unstoppable without tech from the Stargate universe, they'd win. Not to mention the Ori or Asgards...
Posted by: RaptorSevereP88
But then a vampire sprints in, rips off Calliope's head before he can even think to turn around, and does it without sparkling. Then, a teenaged girl runs up to him and starts gushing. He kills her, too. Then he dies by getting gunned down by marines.
Little did the vampire know, that Calliope is protected by a cacoon of heat. Little did the vampire know, that Calliope can sense things, much like the Force in star wars. Little did the vampire know, that Calliope's "Negative" defense is activated if (By some unknown way) someone has managed to slip through the heat barrier. "Negative" Defense - What is done to Calliope, by melee means, is done to that person, 3 times the power.
But then Calliope gets shot by the Typhoon from ten miles away. The entire top half of his body is currently splattered all over the wall behind him.

It also makes you look like a 2 year old.

Actually, thinking about it, BattleTech's universe and the Supreme Commander's universe are actually really damn OP as balls. SupCom I know could take most other conventional armies on quite easily, seeing as every unit is robotic and can be mass produced in a manner of seconds. Including larger-than-skyscraper Assault robots with 800mm Gauss cannons. As for BattleTech... Mechs are just too awesome. You're an idiot if you think otherwise.

Forerunner activated slipspace portal. Main cannon hit death star. It was super effective.
There's a forerunner fortress in Halo, or are you talking about that old school halo, way back when. Btw, the Sith fleet combined with the Jedi fleet managed to defeat an enemy that made Covenant look like ants. (Fatal Alliance, the book is.) Force Powers. A sith managed to "darken" a sun.
I'm using the forerunner novels forerunners which you must not of read or known much about. Forerunners had ships 100km long and had firepower calculated in the perra-terra range if i remember correctly. Also a single war sphinx, which is like a one man mech, can turn over continents.

DAH ORKY BOYZES IS TUFFA DEN ALL THE OTHA BOYZ DEM SPIKEY BOYZ IS PRETTY TUFF, TOO, BUT WE'Z BIGGA AN' MEANER DEN DEM! But with less Ork speak, if all the 40K races put aside their differences (or in the Tyranids case, hunger) and joined together, I have full faith they could take just about everything ever. If not, Necrons would still screw over a good part of the opposition. Because Time travel's pretty cool.
