I've seen Forum Ninjas who post/reply things at 8 in the morning, and I've been wondering "Why?" I thought Forum Ninja was just a title given to moderators on the forum. Are they community members, or Bungie Employees?
-
I'm sure a lot more members would be trying to achieve the status of Forum Ninja on this website if they actually got paid. That honestly wouldn't be a bad perk even if it was minimum wage, but that's obviously never going to happen.
-
No, they do not. They do however, follow the path of some of the other employees or members on this site. They log on with their coffee and bagel, scan the threads that are on screen, f5 once or twice, then check their PMs. After checking PMs, they respond to any reported activity, and deal with accordingly. *cue coffee sip Then they may post in their private group, [redacted] and afterwards return to the Community forum as they finish their bagel, log off and head to work. They then repeat this cycle when they return home, smooch their babe, and wind down for the day. [Edited on 08.29.2012 5:48 PM PDT]

Do you post in B.net at 8 in the morning? If you do, they have every reason to as well.
-
Only think they get paid is banning a little kid and ignoring his message saying, please don't banned me, and they laugh about it. [Edited on 08.29.2012 4:46 PM PDT]

Only they will know...
Posted by: catman6
Posted by: SasukeFKay Well they get paid a *Custom Title*, *Colored-bordered Bar*, and *Colored Text*? :/
I don't think they get a custom title. They do get an avatar though. However you get a title.
Yea...:) And I also forgot about their Avatars!

The ladies probably think that you're compensating for something if you whip out a piece of paper with references instead of whipping... well, you know where I'm headed with this.
Posted by: MASTERMIND416 Do Forum Ninja's get paid to do what they do?
It depends on whether or not they're moonlighting. You know, on the corner of the sidewalk. With the rest of the hookers.
-
They get paid in the form of funny ban appeals.
Posted by: True Underdog Yeah cam, we'll go with that...
Wood is a hard, fibrous tissue found in many trees. It has been used for hundreds of thousands of years for both fuel and as a construction material. It is an organic material, a natural composite of cellulose fibers (which are strong in tension) embedded in a matrix of lignin which resists compression. Wood is sometimes defined as only the secondary xylem in the stems of trees,[1] or it is defined more broadly to include the same type of tissue elsewhere such as in tree roots or in other plants such as shrubs.[citation needed] In a living tree it performs a support function, enabling woody plants to grow large or to stand up for themselves....
Unfortunately, only a handful of people will get the joke. :(
Does it have something to do with a wood chipper? /badjoke OT: I heard they accept smiles as a form of payment. :) [Edited on 08.12.2012 9:14 PM PDT]

No, they do not get paid. It's called volunteer, not a actual job.

they are paid in the blood and tears of those hit with the hammer
Posted by: Commander GX Nope, but there are benefits. Your mom might be able to go into a bit more detail.
Besides, some members post at 8 in the morning. Some do it before they work, some do it just because. This is an enjoyable place, so I don't see why they wouldn't do that, aside from them sleeping.
