I know I've had a few months where I just didn't bother to come here. I also F5 the homepage for weekly updates by instinct.
Anyways, how has your "Bnet life" changed, thinking back on how things used to be and how they are now?
-
It made me appreciate ODST more, find the community more irritating and join a couple private groups.
-
I pretty much don't come here except for days like today where I'm feeling a bit nostalgic thinking about the good old days of coming here to discuss the Halo games. Makes me feel a little sad honestly. First time I've been on here in about 3-5 months.
-
I now sleep with the lights on.
-
It has made me bored.
-
I don't post nearly as much anymore. I still check almost daily though.

The "darkness" has got me O.o Blind-sided* [Edited on 08.09.2012 9:10 PM PDT]

The darkness has shown me that I can be harsh and sometimes irrational. That the moderators here are good but not infallible. That the 7th column is bound by far more than just Bungie itself, and that , lastly, While we may get on each others nerves... We all enjoy a heathy debate and the company.
Posted by: R0flc0pt3r It certainly has made me not visit the site as much as often as I used too.
Its weird because whenever I'm here I can only think about how great this new game should be considering its Bungie that's making it lol, but then I get off and I just forget about it. Huh.

It made it so that I don't visit Bungie.net often, It just kinda makes me bored and sad.
-
Aside from the community forum going a bit crazy on conspiracies and the universe forums being more dead than a rock, nothing has changed aside from me visiting the Flood more. I'm extremely patient due to my fun hobby of staring at walls throughout the years of school, which means that the years of no announcements hasn't phased me. In a way, it feels like only a few minutes have passed since the last Bungie update for me.
-
The darkness has certainly affected us all to an extent. For some, this change has been positive; and for others, negative. For me, this darkness has affected my activity on Bungie.net. Yes, I still log-in everyday while posting here and there, but it's not the same as it used to be. Obviously, discussion has truly diminished due to the apparent lack of topics for us to talk about. The thing that keeps me somewhat sane in these dark times, are definitely my private groups: all great communities that keep me working. Ideally, once this darkness subsides, everything will go 'back to normal'. Ideally, of course.

Every time someone says 'the darkness', i can't help but watch the entire chapelle skit. As far as the darkness, almost nothing has changed I come here to talk to my buds and speculate on games.

I piss my bed at night. /thread.

I now need a flashlight to get around from place to place. ^.^

I'm using the downturn of activity on the forums to increase everyone's awareness of my existence here. Honestly though, nothing's really changed for me. I post the same I've always posted, I visit with the same frequency. Though I guess I don't really visit the homepage any more, I come directly to the forums now.

Oh gosh, I got this and this done. I'm currently working on this baby! So yeah, I've been busy. ~Delta

Going dark is lame. The site is more boring because the BWUs stopped and there's nothing substantial to talk about. I'm looking forward to an increase in information flow from Bungie. :)
-
I don't find myself checking b.net after a big friday night out any more. I always enjoyed reading the updates in a drunken stupor, and then re-reading them on Saturday morning to make sure I didn't miss anything =D
-
I've been away for a while anyway, but I'm starting to try and get active in the forums again.
-
I wake up each morning sobbing. Probably darkness related...
-
Honestly, I have been visiting more often now than I have in the last year or so because I feel like we are right on the edge of something new. Whether is be a website update/overhaul or an announcement about Destiny, even a tiny hint, it has kept me coming back more often.
-
Judging by the forum threads I would say the darkness has driven some people to madness.
-
I rarely come here because of a hostile community, lack of certain features and nothing to discuss. So, it's been much better.
-
It has given me a homely feeling that I will miss when everything gets active again.
-
Not everyone is as cool as you. ;)
Posted by: goldhawk I am completely sick and tired of people mentioning the 'darkness'. Seriously, get a -blam!- hobby.
