Halo 2 multiplayer vs Halo 3 multiplayer
Just so everybody knows I am a major Halo fan boy and love all the halo's, except reach. lol. But I do really wanna know which one you guys think is honestly better and why. Halo 2 multiplayer or Halo 3 multiplayer. Which one has the better maps, guns, vehicles, gameplay ect... in your opinion. The reason why I wanna know this is because i have heard a lot of different opinions on this issue with very little consistansy and it bothers me. I have had plenty of people online halo 3 and plenty of my friends say that Halo 3 has the better multiplayer because its not as glitchy and the gameplay and maps are better. At the same time I have heard The exact same thing, but for Halo 2.
O and dont worry about talking about graphics I know that Halo 3 has better graphics but that doesnt matter to me. The reason being just because a game has better graphics does not mean its a better game/ more fun.
Please answer my question in as much detail as you can give. Thnx!!!

It started out strongly but it ended on a bit of a weak note. After Delta Halo, the game was hit and miss. Some of the Arbiter levels dragged on a little too long. Not to mention the flood is always pretty annoying.

But it still doesn't hide the fact that 3 was -blam!-.[/quote] How was 3 bad?[/quote] Sandbox was awfully unbalanced, rank system was broken when you had too much experience, nothing but boosters, derankers, purchased 50s, worse community in fact I believe 3 is when Halos community went downhill, a number of the smaller maps weren't all that great to me but I did like the larger ones in particular. The game got rather stale for me fairly fast, It was over-hyped and turned out to be a disappointment, of course this is my opinion but I feel like the game was lacking. Compared to 2, I don't think there is a contest, of course Halo 2 had it's flaws as well, but I'm not claiming 2 to be the best, just better. Oh, and I forgot to mention the campaign was terrible, and sandbox variants plagued MM. [Edited on 08.07.2012 2:12 AM PDT]

I loved both games, but I'd definitely choose Halo 3 over 2. I do miss quadshotting, though.

I have more fond memories of Halo 2's multiplayer than I do of Halo 3's, but that's probably because I was younger and more easily amused.
