Halo 2 multiplayer vs Halo 3 multiplayer
Just so everybody knows I am a major Halo fan boy and love all the halo's, except reach. lol. But I do really wanna know which one you guys think is honestly better and why. Halo 2 multiplayer or Halo 3 multiplayer. Which one has the better maps, guns, vehicles, gameplay ect... in your opinion. The reason why I wanna know this is because i have heard a lot of different opinions on this issue with very little consistansy and it bothers me. I have had plenty of people online halo 3 and plenty of my friends say that Halo 3 has the better multiplayer because its not as glitchy and the gameplay and maps are better. At the same time I have heard The exact same thing, but for Halo 2.
O and dont worry about talking about graphics I know that Halo 3 has better graphics but that doesnt matter to me. The reason being just because a game has better graphics does not mean its a better game/ more fun.
Please answer my question in as much detail as you can give. Thnx!!!

Halo 2's was just all around better. I have so many fond memories in that game. I saw a lot more creative gamertags, not just xXx_MlG_SNIPEZ_xxX, ranks actually meant something, until you got to the symbols. And in one game of Halo 2 there was this guy called King of Crusade, who began the game by shouting in a very regal voice "I AM KING OF CRUSADE. NOW, I WANT 2 TO EVERY VEHICLE, AND I WANT YOU AND YOU TO GO GET THE POWER WEAPONS..." and basically spent the whole game shouting in a very kingly voice. I was in tears I was laughing so hard. (it is a you had to be there moment.) That doesn't mean I didn't have fond memories of Halo 3 as well, but I've always just preferred H2's. [Edited on 08.07.2012 4:53 AM PDT]

I love how everyone completely ignores online co op, forge and theatre. Halo 3 was just a better game overall.

I played heaps oh H3 with a friend (Split-Screen). Then we moved onto Halo 2. Halo 2 was much more fun in terms of unique level design and gameplay. H2 wins.

Halo 2! Never had more gaming memories than I did while playing it's multiplayer.

Both have nearly identical gameplay and outdated netcode. I'll stick with Reach unless I want to nostalgia.

What i am hearing is that, people who liked halo 2 enjoyed it but if you don't like halo 2 multiplayer you have to be on the enjoy side because they liked it. Honestly i liked halo 3 multiplayer as it was a lil more balance before they had that major update. I liked halo reach multiplayer too, like nothing is wrong with reach.

I was never a profound Halo multiplayer fan, but I feel Halo 2 had a more serious and less 'toy-like' vibration to it.

I'd say 47 is well enough for a casual. 1.55 K\D is pretty damn good for one as well. Sorry I didn't buy my 50s like all the other casuals did. Son, I am in disappoint that yours isn't much higher. The excuse of playing at a higher level is rather silly seeing as how that game had an over abundance of alts and derankers lol, so don't try and hide behind that. but at least you delivered, so i'm proud of ya. H2 was better, H3 was the worst of the series, easily. H2 has superior maps and gameplay, after the updates were applied. Also, when Halo 2 came out, it was THE game. Everyone played it. When H3 came out, the population of live was already segmented by the plethora of other shooters available. H3 felt like watered down Halo to me. Also, Im not sure why everyone poops on Reach. Halo is pretty much the only console FPS I play, and have been playing it since '01. Reach is totally my favorite multiplayer of the series, slightly ahead of H1. Campaign? Sure it was bad, but multiplayer? noway
