What Colour is Thel's Arbiter Armour Exactly?

In the games it appears to be silver and yet, on the models and figures, it appears to be gold. Why is this?

In regular daylight however, it should be grey with a hint of gold in the highlights (according to Halo 3's awesome lighting engine).
When is the Chief's armor blue or orange? I'd like to see a screen of that.
I've never seen the Chief's armor outright blue or orange, but there are certain parts of The Storm where the Chief's armor is tinged blue under certain lighting conditions. More so in the face of explosions. There's a slight brownish/orange (would really say more along the lines of brownish) tinge to his armor in the Cortana level as well in some areas.

 • Silver glinted gold I'm guessing? Or perhaps vice versa? Kind of like how the Banshee is purple but reflects green in the proper lighting?

 • Remember, before he become the Arbiter he was a shipmaster. And they wear gold armour. It's silver in the game because he isn't Thel anymore, but the Arbiter.
