If they came to hear me beg achievement
Ok I may not be the only one but I'm so freaking sick of this glitched achievement. To do this thing you gotta have perfect timing. I hear people do it on the mission Nightfall but I don't know how. Can someone help me I'm standing on the point of throwing my Xbox out the window.

This achievement is glitched. I tried over and over again to get it. Every time I missed, I died. Every time I assassinated the elite, I didn't get the achievement. The attempt where I finally got it was no different from all the other attempts. The people who got it in 10 minutes were lucky.

I don't think it's glitched, I think it's just hard and I have never understood why achievments can't be hard. The only ones I disagree with are the ones that there is no feasable way of completing purposefully such as "beat a developer in multiplayer". That said, I still don't have this. I've spent over an hour killing myself over and over with the aimless suicidal jump. I can angle it right, I can get behind him, I'm turning off the sprint and I'm holding down to assasinate not tapping. But if I keep on landing a few feet short of him HTF am I supposed to kill him? Is there a trick to getting more distance from the jump? I've hit him a couple of times, but never got the achievement as I think I turned off my sprint too late so the fall wasn't fatal. Any advice on getting a few feet extra on that jump would be greatly apprecaited.

Lol @ "glitched achievement." I don't understand why players find this one so hard. I vaguely remember looking it up on Youtube way back and did it on the first or second try on The Pillar of Autumn.

Nightfall on Legendary at the beginning. Did it there for my profile as well as two others. I must have suicided 200 times on PoA before I found out about Nightfall.

Pillar of Autumn cliff jump. Make sure that the little message thing that tells you if your friends are online or something is finished downloading is on. I got the elite perfectly on the first try but didn't get the achievement because I had that thing off.

I've done it in 10 minutes once. Here's some tips for you; Do it on the PoA. Run up to the edge at the beginning. On normal difficulty with no skulls on there is only three possible directions the elite will go from where he stands. One of the is very unlikely. Analyze his pattern and predict where he'll be. Move back and then sprint+jump off the edge. Disengage sprint early, at the least halfway through. HOLD the melee button for assassination. I did this almost two years ago, so this is just from my memory (of getting the achievement multiple times). There is also many good guides on youtube. Do it on Pillar of autumn, you cannot be sprinting in mid air.
