Mine would have to be the scene which starts of the level in Halo 3 "The Ark".
Nothing says "badass" more than having the Elite ships engage the Brute ships whilst the humans drop onto the Ark.

From the games? Well...
To give the Covenant back their bomb.
Overall though...
Die? Didn't you know? ...Spartans never die.
Halo 2 when John says "Boo" to the grunt
-
Also the whole "Inside Job" cutscene from Halo 2 (Gravemind opening) is incredible - from the mysterious poetic machinations of Gravemind himself, to a glimpse at 2401, and best of all, the shot of High Charity over Delta Halo at the end, depicting the break-out of the Covenant Civil War, set to Marty's beautiful string piece from "Cairo Suite". The whole scene is a literary and cinematic masterpiece. I love the irony of S117's outright appearance as Truth declares that "nothing can stop us".
-
Halo 1 Johnson's speeches Halo 2 "We shall cut into the heart of this infestation..." Halo 3 "Come on spartan GO GO GO!" Halo 3 ODST Brute chieftain-romeo scene Halo Wars Spartan Red team with Arbiter's death Halo Reach THE CHARGE!!! Or Six's death scene :(
-
Bet you I can stick it.
Posted by: Mysten I've always loved the opening scene of Cairo Station for this exchange: "I thought you said there wouldn't be any cameras." "And you said you'd wear something nice."
lol "Sir how did you get back?" "That is CLASSIFIED information soldier."

Maybe Miranda's death?
-
For me, it had to be the scene when Truth sets up the Halo rings to fire in the Ark. Some awesome dialogue there, along with great music.
-
"We got Jackals in the courtyard!" Not really a scene, but still epic.

The beginning part of Uprising in Halo 2 (Before the vehicles)

^^ Oh yeah, forgot about that game reach. silly game it was. Had the driest campaign with the least(possibly none existent) character development out of all the halo games.... [Edited on 07.05.2012 12:01 AM PDT]

My heart literally skipped a beat when she got shot and then the music played and you saw the desperation of Noble Team trying to cover her and get her in the bunker. I really liked how Bungie did that closing scene, especially when it cuts to the doors closing and you can see her foot twitching.
Or when the Falcon comes and Carter is carrying her limp body in his arms, bridal style.

Halo 2, final cinematic. Sir, finishing this fight.
Posted by: wcd45 Halo Wars - Three Spartans Vs. 12 Elites - best cinematic ever!
That was cool, but my favorite scene from that amazing game is... I have to say the climax where the Spirit slingshots off the planet and off to a random spot in SPASHE. Serena, shut up. :)
-
It is impossible to select one scene by itself as my personal favorite - however Halo 2's Regret closing cutscene and whole Sacred Icon/Library atmosphere are absolutely incredible.
-
Halo: CE The Flood introduction. Halo 2 "Don't shake the light-bulb." Halo 3 "Tower one approach, active triple-A." ODST "Yeah, well, here I am!" Reach "Good luck to you, Spartan."

Silent Cartographer in it's entirety is one big scene. Sandbox mission: heaping tons of replayability!
Posted by: ajw34307
What he said!

Halo Wars - Three Spartans Vs. 12 Elites - best cinematic ever!

halo CE: silent cartographer, enough said halo 2 had some good ones, the one that ajw34307 mentioned when the chief and arby met with gravemind was cool. Although the legendary ending in halo 2 with high charity being taken over by the flood was interesting. halo 3: for me, i loved the intro to the ark and the covenant. Riding in on a pelican has never been more fun halo 3:ODST: Most of them, but especially the opening drop sequence, does not get more bad ass than that. halo wars: when captain cutter rams the covenant vessel with the spirit of fire or when sergeant forge kills the arbiter at the end, and you see the spartan's kick the arby off the edge of the platform lol [Edited on 07.03.2012 3:58 PM PDT]

Probably this, or any of the cutscenes that follow.
Posted by: ajw34307 Halo 2: - Convergence of the plot leading to John and Thel's meeting with Gravemind.
Halo 2, definitely had the most awesome moments. Specifically? Giving the Covenant back their bomb, or in Halo 3, the whole Floodgate/Ark Scene.
