I just registered a Bungie account in hopes of downloading maps made by users to play in Halo Reach. Bungie doesn't seem to be able to link or recognize that I have a file share so therefore I'm unable to copy someone's map to my fileshare. Can anyone help or point me in right direction? Thanks.

Why do you even want to put that piece of S game in?

You have to search for the maps in-game using the file browser. I know, it sucks. Hopefully 343i will introduce a file-search system on their website so we can download files again.

You have to go in game an search for the gamertag with the file browser.
-
Unfortunately you can't, hopefully 343 will add a feature for that later on. As for now you'll have to use the file system on Halo: Reach itself to download gametype/map content.

Reach was trash--worst game ever.343i doesn't care about reach and that's not their focus. Their focus is halo 4. I don't think they are focusing on a fileshare for halo reach. No need and is a waste of time.

You have to download them directly from the game. At least until 343i releases their file sharing service. [Edited on 06.10.2012 6:53 PM PDT]

Hopefully, Halo Waypoint will have a similar system up and running later this summer. But for now, we can't. Sucks.
