There is no need for a grenade indicator. CoD has it because the grenades blow up much later when not cocked, the game is casual, and because you can throw them back. In Halo it is just pointless. Halo always gave them a distinct sound (*clink clink clink boom*) and they were easier to see. I don't need the game to tell me I was stuck when it's on my face. [Edited on 06.04.2012 5:35 PM PDT]

I suck at knowing when there's a grenade nearby or exactly where it is, so this would help me. I don't know how the "competitive" community would take this, though.

It makes sense. A suit that costs as much as a starship should be able to tell if a live grenade is close to you. This will benefit people greatly, why? Martyrdom grenades. I'm not talking about the perk from CoD. I mean, when some jerk throws a grenade at the last second in a CQC situation before they die. You never see them throw, but it comes out. You sometimes don't hear it either. Then you get blown up by a martyrdom grenade. I KNOW it happens to all of us. 343i is on the ball, gentlemen.
