Bungie's X06 Announcements
Bungie has announced two new projects today at X06. The first is a partnership with [i]Peter Jackson [/i]and his talented crew to bring you another chapter in the Halo Universe. The second is [i]Halo Wars[/i], a real-time strategy game being developed by [i]Ensemble Studios[/i]. Get the scoop in the full story.

HELL YEAH!!!! Bungie, you rock!! RTS's are usually not my cup of tea, but hell, if it's Halo, I'll learn!!! And OMG what an AWESOME trailer!!! I am SO stoked about Halo 3, the Halo movie, and NOW, about Halo Wars. I can't wait to see what the other project is for the 360. You realize that if it weren't for Halo 3, I would never have bought a 360. Bungie...you guys are tne busiest team on the planet, it seems. So many projects in the works. My utmost appreciation, respect and thanks go out to all of you. In a nutshell....WOW!!! :) :) :)

Hmmm.... Nice work ! but scorpions looks like in the halo mode for generals... and what happened to that mode? Good that its Ensemble studios making that game, and Bungie is helping it! But people will buy that game if Bungie or Ensemble can fix big problem named CRUSH´n RUSH! I mean if you make game where you cannot use crush and rush strategy! Then its real strategy ! Bcz you must think! Not only build 100 tanks and crush everything! [Edited on 9/28/2006]

I think this game will be beyond godly, but why does it only have to be for the 360, my not regular x-box, i mean i have been a supporter of x-box since its creation. but i have to face the facts that i wont be able to get a 360 (anytime soon at least) i am not spoiled and my parents wont get it for me and i don't have enough money nor the opportunity to go out and buy one, I say we try and convince them to create a original x-box version

This looks awsome and I can't wait to play it, although I hope this doesn't lead to bungie giving halo away to multiple developers. I want to work at Bungie and if I do manage to get there, I don't want one of the greatest games they've ever made to have been sold to some other company. I would be much more confident in the future of the Halo series (not the quality of the game, but I don't know, I've never played a Bungie RTS) if it stayed in the hands of bungie. Wow, pretty damn good news I'd say. I love RTS games, so a Halo one will be bloody sweet! Is it just me, or does the reflection in the middle Spartan's visor look like some weird buck toothed creature? It looks like he's looking down to the bottom left. It looks funny

When i downloaded the trailer on my 360 and watched it, i thought it was going to be a movie until i saw that xbox 360 logo. Still, AWESOME LOOKING GAME. That IS the meaning of next gen.

Actually, RPGs may work, you start out as a Spartan in training and go through all the stuff the other Spatans go through described the the book Halo - The Fall of Reach.....but when it's time for combat, you can swith to a 1st person shooter! lol just my thoughts Anyway, this game looks awsome, and did anyone notice the Human flying vehicles that the Banshees shot down and ones that flew over the Spartans heads??? Hopefully that means that there'll also be one in Halo 3 too!!! w00t 2 Halo games for Xbox 360 out in 2007 and Halo 2 for Windows Vista on PC, hope everyone can wait that long....

Please tell me the Jackson game isnt going to be the Official game of the movie... (of the game) Because quite frankly, KONG was lame. I cant imagine playing a half assed version of Halo. I think all this Halo stuff is awesome though... Halowars looks like its going to own my socks off!

Hey, you know that one part where he writes,"as we complete our scheduled march to finish and release Halo 3 in 2007". You know, maybe that is supposed to be some sort of hint that halo 3 is going to come out in March. I remember reading on this one website, a couple of months back, that they talked to a bungie worker or something and they said it was going to come out in March. Hey, you never know right. I can't wait much longer for halo 3 to come out. I hope it does come out in March.
