Bungie's X06 Announcements
Bungie has announced two new projects today at X06. The first is a partnership with [i]Peter Jackson [/i]and his talented crew to bring you another chapter in the Halo Universe. The second is [i]Halo Wars[/i], a real-time strategy game being developed by [i]Ensemble Studios[/i]. Get the scoop in the full story.

Even though i can barely understand what you are trying to convey i got the basic idea and i agree. It is getting old hearing the same things about Halo 3. Hearing about how the lucky guys at Bungie get to test out the new maps and campaigns all while the rest of us have to sit in the dark. The least bungie could do was release a video of them playing, or a trailer again, and at the very least put out some pictures. Its getting way old to hear the same thing re-worded differently. No offence to Bungie though because without them i wouldnt be wasting all my time writing this when i should be doing homework. Long story made longer, I agree with the Monkey. [Edited on 9/28/2006]

New Halo stuff? Cool! Not for the PC? grrrrr! (sigh) grumble... rasa frasa... rolls eyes... etc. etc. Call me somewhere around 2010 when it loses its "exclusivity". Maybe I will be into RTS games by then.

Wow this is awsome news! Peter F. Jackson on board! ;) well, his middle initial isn't normally "F" but today it is! Very cool. You guys should get some nice New Zealand vacation packages out of this. AND an RTS. Nice. Now, when are you guys going to let me pitch?? Er, can't seem to get over the brick wall. Not to mention past the bald guy with the nun-chucks.

Well Its an amzing anouncement, phenomenal, Age of Empires company,(great games) coming together with bungie to make Halo rts. That was like orgasm in my brain as soon as i saw the video, they should make an entire movie with graphics like that.

i Think a halo rts is really great and you probably didnt know the rts was so close you could smell it. A Few dudes over at a modding site were working on a Halo mod for another rts game. It was really showing potential was a great mod but a monthe or 2 ago the were orderd by the Big software company to stop the creation of the mod. Im not saying the idea Has been stolen from them, i just wanted to point out there already was a great halo rts mod that sadly could never be fully released. Ill get flamed wont I ?

OMFG if you watch the trailer,,,OMG. I think if the movie looks anything like the Halo Wars trailer its gonna kick some major azz. The Halo Wars game sounds like its gonna kick some azz to. Im a pretty big fan of RTS games myself. I like the Wharhammer40k: Dawn of Wars series myself, because im also into the table top game related to the computer game, can't wait for the third Dawn of War game, but I think this Halo RTS is gonna blow every RTS out of the water. Man bungie is doin a great job with the Halo series, gotta give them props, it kicks so much azz.

no thanks, halo shouldnt be sold out to other companies to be screwed up. It should stay within bungie. Halo Wars will not match up, and the peter jackson thing isnt even a game. Halo is an fps end of story.

I enjoy RTS games so I am excited about Halo Wars. I was, however, hopeing that we would be getting another taste of Halo in a matter similar to Battlefield 2:MC. Perhaps this is the project that WETA is working on. I'd love to see, and play, the different classes and drive the various halo vehicles like we do on BF2:MC. If this project was based on the movie that'd be awesome. I can only hope.

This is great news for all Halo fans out there! Halo will live on for many many years after Halo 3. And we've got Peter Jackson who's not just making the Halo Movie, but also something new in the Halo Universe that is going to be something we've never seen before in games. I'm not an RTS fan, but I might be when Halo Wars is out. =) Nothing new about Halo 3, still I'm very satisfied with all the Halo news we got at X06 yesterday. Go Bungie, Go Ensemble Studios, Go Wingnut Interactive!

Bungie are a lot smarter than you think, they know all they've got to do is make a game, slap HALO in the title and people like yourself will go crazy soil yourself and buy the game.
