Bungie's X06 Announcements
Bungie has announced two new projects today at X06. The first is a partnership with [i]Peter Jackson [/i]and his talented crew to bring you another chapter in the Halo Universe. The second is [i]Halo Wars[/i], a real-time strategy game being developed by [i]Ensemble Studios[/i]. Get the scoop in the full story.

This is great news. i don't understand why people are upset. These games are adding to the Halo universe and expanding on it in great ways. i really look forward to seeing more news about these exciting projects and also the halo movie.

i thought that it was halo3, and i was like"WOW, this game is going to rock" but when you find out its halo wars it kinda makes you sad. well i just wish they showed some halo 3. looks good just was looking forward to halo 3

Wow where to begin , when I first saw the CG trailer I thought, Halo 3 is gonna be huge !!! But then it was halowars, well I don't know really what to think about it. Sure, it looked really cool, but it still isn't bungie making the game and all... can it be a good Halo game if it's not made by bungie? Well I don't want to be a party-wrecker, so congrats to bungie for all these awsome anouncements! Cheers xD

When I first started to watch the Halo Wars trailor I thought it was a movie trailor, but it's a game with movie like graphics!!! Now that I'm thinking about it I hope the game is good even though Bungie isn't making it. Now that I'm thinking about it Ensemble makes great RTSs, like Age Of Mythology and Rise Of Nations. [/quote] Haha, yeah- after seeing that, now I'm kind of wishing that Bungie would use pre-rendered cut scenes for all the story segments in Halo 3, instead of in-game elements... because that was REALLY sweet.

Just a thought, does this mean that microsoft are gonna launch keyboards and mice for the 360 any time soon? They are pretty crucial when it comes to games like this and im asking without knowing if its already possible to plug in a normal keyboard and mouse so no flaming? [Edited on 9/27/2006]
