ME2 Miranda romance question
So I'm playing through Mass Effect 2 for the first time and I'm trying to romance Miranda. Anyway after I completed her loyalty mission I went to talk to her. Everything went good and I went back to talk to her a couple missions later. During this second conversation however I think I made a mistake. There were 3 options I could choose from to respond to her statement "The only thing I can take credit for is my mistakes." These are the 3 dialog options I got.
1. You're hard to compliment.
2. I'm sorry you feel that way.
3. You're Jealous.
I chose dialog option 2. My question is did I screw it all up? Ever since I said that Miranda will say she is busy when I try to talk to her.

Would have have worked too. Still confusing dialogue. I don't get how saying "Sorry you feel that way." Makes you suddenly unappealing to Miranda. Yet saying "You're jealous of me!" Makes her want to kiss you.

I googled it a bit and found out that I messed up. And I have no saves before talking to her. Great... It's kinda ridiculous that one dialogue option will cause you to fail at a romance with Miranda. I mean come on those dialogues were kinda unclear. How does saying "sorry" make Miranda not interested in you?
