I bought a copy of Oblivion off ebay for the PC about a year or two ago and it came with a real life Septim. I just recently found it (the Septim) again and i was wondering how much it is worth. In U.S dollars
Does anyone know anymore about it than i do?
Posted by: rienstien Really? $10? My Septim is dusty as all hell, sitting on my dresser. I'd never sell it though. Except I may give it to a beggar...
And then kill him to power your ebony blade!
Posted by: sargent shade Well to find out find the price of a real life steel sword and the price in septims of one from the elder scrolls. Divide the price of the real sword by the price in septims of the one from elder scrolls. so if you can get a real sword for $50 and one in skyrim for 2000 septim then a septim would be worth $.40.
Actual decent swords are in the $800 region - a (roughly) equivalent sword in Oblivion is 40 Septims. So in actual fact by that system your Septim could be worth $20. (Sources: UESP Wiki, frequent sword shopping)

Surely I have to take inflation, economic standard of the state, currency exchange, etc.

... You're kidding, right?

I'm guessing about $10.

It's bronze. So like five cents.

Really? Go with Wonderbread's answer.

I would guess between 5 and 10 dollars. Not entirely sure though. [Edited on 05.14.2012 7:07 AM PDT]
Posted by: Crazy LlamaX Seems to range anywhere from $10-50.
wat I lost mine :(

I have no idea why, but for some reason nobody will exchange currency to or from Septims. Weird.
-
It's not a real Septim if it's not made out of gold.
-
$5-ish.

One sweet roll. Seriously though, I have no idea. I wasn't even aware they existed. If I had to guess, 10$ to 50$. [Edited on 05.13.2012 5:22 PM PDT]
