Bungie Weekly Update
Huge update this week, starting with the first ever Bungie Podcast and including real audio from Halo 3. Download it! Listen to it! We also premiere the final Halo 3 logo and debut In-Fusio's Halo Mobile Portal for cellphones. Halo music ringtones are finally here!

That was a great Pod-cast... especially the Waaahmblulance part. I haven't laughed so hard in a while. Especially the one about the Standbyer.

The WWU was great. A decent amount of new information and some new pics. I'm really interested in the behind the scenes stuff like the Halo 3 logo's creation. I think its safe to say that the rest of the fans would agree. The podcast was also excellent. Different segments and people make it varied and not a bore to listen to. And please, keep the Whaambulance segments short and sweet just like it is in epsiode one. Some background music at a really low volume wouldn't hurt though. Incubus 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Movements of the Odyssey from the Halo 2 Soundtrack Volume One would be great candidates for that.

You guys need some chix there you know that? I'd do a music bed if I were you. It'll cover up any potential dead air long enough for you to get your next line of topics going. Give Bob the emails before he reads them so he's not stumbling over misspelled words (Bob FTW) Try to get a show clock going to you have an idea of where the shows going, exactly what your talking about, and cutting the time down. An hour show is a LOT to do. It's also a lot to listen too. And come guest on my radio show.

The Halo 3 logo looks great, good job! And the podcast was just outright hilarious, especially the Whaambulance and all the talk about Halo 3. I'm looking forward to the next podcast.

I don't like the logo too much. I mean the shape of it is good, what I'd expect, but the colours are too dark. Sure, your trying to make it look, old and beaten but..the dark murky colours aren't right, but good update besides.

I liked the Halo3 logo. The Podcast was “all right” Cut the fat! Less fat more meat! You guys are good at mofo-ing an BS-ing! The Waaaaaaambulance sucks.... I could give 2 SS about those losers! Get some dedicated PR people... you guys suck at explaining HALO, your own game!! An so did Wilmer Valderrama when he came on Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel for Halo2! The Mclees, Frankie, and that other guy... did a crappy job of explaining Halo3 an not giving away new stuff. My grandma could have done better than that!!! Frankie had this --I so do not give an S about this-- look on his face in those Bungie interviews. Way to go! [Edited on 9/24/2006]

The Waahmbulance is funny, but for some reason, I feel like these idiots are receiving more attention than they deserve. If your response in the podcast somehow combats idiots, I'm all for it. Otherwise, I'd like to see us move on to more important matters. Like Halo 3, bungie bs, community, etc.. Do -blam!-s really deserve anymore attention than our disembodied soul?

Hey, great job on the first Podcast! I just have one main issue with the Podcast. You have probably already noticed this issue and will avoid it next time, but I'll speak of it anyway. After announcing "Interview" or something rather, Halo music is played. My problem with this is that the Podcast speakers converse while the music is playing at the same volume. Because of this, it is difficult to hear the speakers while the music is playing. I suggest that next time the music should be played at a background volume once the speaking begins. Other than this, the Podcast was great. I really enjoyed being able to listen to the kids with "less than average" intelligence whine about getting banned for being, well, dumb. If these kids have to cheat to enjoy Halo 2, or games in general, they are a true disappointment. "Waaaambulance" is an excellent part of the Podcast, as those kids deserve as much humilation as allowed. Nice job, Bob. Once again, great job. I look forward to the next time.

I cant download the PodCast i can right click on it and the save target as is blurred out. i click on the link and nothing happens. How can i fix this?

Hm..I'm guessing the mystery sound is a turrent hitting of some piece of metal? And about that dialog, keep that srg. johnson one hatting that brute, it was halerious! And those other funny baning letters were so funny too.

That was a really good podcast guys I had fun listening to it and it gave me info on cool things, I felt like i was in the coversation with you guys, at one point I almost spoke to the podcast because I thought I was in a chat with you guys. All around great update. All of that eye-candy was much appreciated. And, of course, thank you for the podcast. For a first effort, that podcast was awesome. Hey, for even a seasoned crew, that would be a killer 'cast. My only complaint was the occasional drop in volume when Frankie spoke. But content-wise and organization-wise, it was top-notch. Various aspects of the podcast had me laughing all-day. When my wife got home from work, I shared the Bungie Kids theme song and the Waahmbulance with her. She loved them too. Very excellent job, you guys. I cannot wait for the 'cast following X06.

Ok to be generic: the logo is cool, and the podcast is cool. Feedback? --I like all the info, but you guys sound dead. Lol, it's kinda funny to imagine what I read in most updates spoken in a dominantly monotone voice. (I'm not wanting you guys to go nuts, it just sounds like a british tea party gone downhill). I really do like the included feeling that the podcast gives. I feel connected to Bungie now. Pretty sweet. Overall I thought it was involving and interesting.

Ya cool new logo. Ya that was also a pretty sweet podcast. I think everyone enjoy's insulting Brutes and Elites in gameplay. But yeah, the whole "Halo 3 Mystery Sound" idea is pretty amusing....but everyone knows the weapon switch to a M6E Pistol....Well at leats I hope most Halo 2 players know that sound. Anyways keep up the good work.

Finally, a Podcast that I can subscribe to! And Halo Ringtones!! If I had a phone that was nearly as capable, I would put it on loud and ring it in the library!!! Ha! Also, logos are hot. They make me sweaty. EDIT: 60 megs? I thought that was normal! [Edited on 9/23/2006]

I was acctually able to listen to the entire podcast without becoming bored. I would recommend keeping it just as long for future ones, and also i would like to hear samples of halo 3 music too, along with the mystery sounds.

hey guys, loved the podcast, GREAT work!!! here are my 2 cents... -loved the jingle and whaambulance (Bob's voice makes it even funnier so let him continue to read them). -quality infrormation and news -sugestion: replace the "beeping" noise which covers up explitives and gamertags with a halo related noise. my ideal noises would be a whining grunt or elite and maybe even a honking warthog... -sugestion: add a Bungie related trivia question at the beginning of each podcast and reveal the answer at the end. -KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!
