Posted by: Midnight Hawk2 The only thing that makes xbox version better is you can have everything on including fog on far (I'm stuck on short all the time). Other than that its easier using a mouse to look around. Plus you have mods, texture packs, skins, and multiplayer not limited to your F/L. This is all my opinion though. Some people just like playing on the xbox better. Like I prefer Halo 2 xbox over PC
Pretty sure 95% of the people prefer Halo 2 on the Xbox, bud.

It looks very similar, though I imagine PC controls would be easier and faster.

Why don't a lot of Minecraft/PC players realize that not everyone can fork out the money for a capable PC? I know it doesn't take that much to run Minecraft, but a lot of people prefer simplicity or simply don't have a credit card or the money for the PC version of Minecraft.
Posted by: BxR Twister Jesus Christ. Why would MS make you pay $20 for this hunk of boring s.hit. All you do is WALK AROUND (no sprinting btw) and HIT BLOCKS. THAT'S THE ENTIRE GAME, HITTING BLOCKS. I only played the trial but the thing is, it left me with an awful impression. My only compliment is that it ran a lot smoother than I thought it would. And don't say "Well, you can build stuff with the blocks." What are you going to do with your creation, stare at it then move on to the next pointless task? If you guys want Minecraft 5000 just play Halo: Reach Forge. No -blam!- graphics and running around mindlessly. Seriously, Minecraft is a CHORE. Besides, on Forge you can actually play on your creation instead of just stare at it. Damn nerds.
On the PC you can download user created Adventure maps to play on that have their own set of guidelines and story if you find just building to be boring.

I only got the trial. It's essentially the same as the PC version only Xbox is in beta 1.6 and there seems to be less FPS.

I wonder if they will ever lift the 1024x1024 terrain size, I can understand not having mods and texture packs, but the terrain size is a huge let down.
-
As soon as I get home, I'mma get it. I'm kinda excited about getting it on the 360.

I dont have autism. I've never heard of Minecraft I don't know what to expect Should I buy it. I have 2,000 points on my account right now
Posted by: Twilight_SparkIe
Posted by: jross1993 How does it compare to PC version?
Posted by: antony X1000 Yeah, my brother has been on it for 2 hours now.

It's basically the same thing but now everything is on its highest settings.
Well, atleast it will be better than my piece-of-poo laptop.
Posted by: Sacred Flea For people who are saying the PC version is superior; I know, almost every PC game is compared to it's console counterpart. For people like me, who can't afford the money/time to sink into a decent PC, the console version is very accessible, and despite it's flaws, it's better to have a slightly flawed version than none at all, right? Anyhow, I've never really been interested in Minecraft, but I'll download the demo nonetheless.
You don't need to spend $1000 to play minecraft. My laptop runs it perfectly and it has a dual core 1.3ghz and 2 ram. And i've been able to run portal 2 and fallout 3.

I don't like it on the Xbox. Not to bash or anything, but it wasn't exactly meant for the Xbox. The game play is alto harder, too. Over all rating, I'd probably give it a 3.8 or something along those lines. The graphics are nice, how ever.
