People I have met in the military, or at least my friends who enlisted all would side with the true Americans at that point. As a soldier, Airman, Seamen, or Marine you can ignore an unlawful order. In fact I believe you have to not comply with an unlawful order.

Interesting. I was thinking about this instead of paying attention during class about a week or two ago. My first thoughts were that if the civil war was based on state lines, would I even support my own state. I don't see it happening unless something extreme happens in the near future.
