Is join date any indication of age? (Experiment Inside)
Now I'm sure there are plenty of exceptions, but I think for the most part, the older the account the older the person is behind that account.
Now an old account, imo, is 2006 or older. Many would argue 04 or bust.
I'd like to get an experiment going if enough members participate

08 for me, on this account, on the older account it-if memory serves me correctly-was shortly after Halo 2 shipped. And I'm an old man, old enough to be your daddy for some of you.

From the 52 posts with an age and join date, it's clear that if you joined in 2008, it's highly likely that you're aged between 16 and 20 and if your join date is 2007, your age is between 17 and 21. So far plenty of people of the current ages 17, 18 and 19 joined in 2008 or 2009. The graph is correlating very well.

Just run a quick analysis for you. For the data thusfar, you've got a correlation coefficient of 0.79 (compared to Bunsen's 1.2), and a 7.1% chance of it being randomly occurring rather than evidence of a true correlation. So given the limited sample size, you're doing pretty well. [Edited on 04.16.2012 2:49 PM PDT]
