Since people keep bringing up the fact that the dead cant see....i wanted to clarify. It's not in a literal sense....i know you might be being sarcastic, but if youre not and just don't know; its a figurative sense. Meaning its talking about war in general, we will never see the end of war, because in humanity and nature; its a surviving tradition, habit, or practice; take your pick. So the dead only see the end of it because they are moving on spiritually and never have to be with the living who experience war all the time.

Albert Einstein and Plato had some of the best quotes ever. As to that quote's relevance to the Halo universe? It's just as true as real life, in that sense.

I don't see why it would have any relevance to Halo, however the quote holds much truth. I think everyone realizes that it's referring to mankinds consistent engagements of war, which quote possibly will never stop.
