The Bungie Weekly Update
It was about time we answered some of your mailbag questions, so we did. There's a tiny update on the state of the Podcast and our cowbell-filled theme song. We also chat a wee bit about the Warthog, or more properly, about some of the new AI creeping into Halo 3.

"Halo 2 is starting to get really really boring for many people...I think its time for some new maps. I know you guys are busy with Halo 3 and all that but there are games out there that are working on their new games and still send new maps out. For example: Call Of Duty 2 is coming out with Call Of Duty 3 soon and they also had 3 map packs come out recently. You guys keep updating the matchmaking things like adding in new games and all that but new games aren’t what people want, we want new maps to play on! If you guys could think about making a map pack or two (one is fine we just want something new) then please for the love of god do it. " "Well, we’re obviously very busy working on Halo 3 for Xbox 360 so it wouldn’t make sense for us to stop what we’re doing and go make maps for our old game. I`d Just Sure Hope Bungie could release a Picture of Master chief, I mean,I don`t care if its not a actual Gameplay Screenshot, as long as we can see Chiefs new armor and Such.Because All I see is the same Pics Every week on the Weekly update Avatar,and there all 4 Month old Pics.

No i think htey should release a detail about the multiplayer or some upgrade to the banshee which i hope the did or took out the -blam!- spectre they should atleast let out a descriptioon of a multiplayer map

Good Update. That video was sick. That guy was right though, it has gotten a little boring, Its been over a year since the last maps game out and creating new games does nothing. I can create new games by myself. However I think it is important to work on the Halo 3. BAM [Edited on 9/17/2006]

I can not wait for this game! The warthog sounds like its gonna kick some major face and i can't wait to fight alongside these smarter marines. So when you say lots more enemies do you mean like, a bagillion times more harder?

Well, you can get some in the Halo 3 thing, located in games on here. Besides that, I want so many enimies, that I barely have time to rest in the game.

Need huge halo 2 maps... including a flyable pelican 32 players xbox live and downloadable 20 dollar disc. maybe a small rough warthog maps and a plain banshee dogfight map any other ideas???

So, I've been studying for a business law class and took a break to read the online halo article thingy. Anyways, are they getting rid of Southpaw in Halo 3? i play with that mode and probably could never play halo again if they changed it. I actually play with Southpaw Boxer so hopefully they keep boxer too.

Finally some intelligent friendly AI, I'm so sick of my teammates blowing me up with rocket launchers or shooting me with a sniper rifle. I feel like I have to baby sit them. I figured you all might change the control scheme. What is good about you guys changing it is that you still give us the option to turn it back to the old control scheme very smart. Great update in my eyes.
