Most of the kids at my school that wear anything related to gaming like a Halo hoodie or a Left 4 Dead t-shirt get talked down on. Most of them are kind of weird or no one really knows them so that doesn't help the image. I don't care for it but I would never wear anything game related like a Mass Effect hoodie or anything at all.
The only exception to gaming related clothes I would wear is a plain black t shirt with a Gears of War omen on it. Not because I like the game but because I like how it looks it seems to be my style and since my friends aren't hardcore gamers and the only game big in between them is Gears of War they would think it's pretty cool / not care.
Honestly I know most people don't care what other people think of them so I understand if I was into game clothing I wouldn't care about people laughing behind my back as long as I was happy.
So what do you think?
Is it begging to be laughed at?
Is it just something no one would care about?
Is it something people give compliments on?

It depends on whether or not it's subtle. The N7 logo on a shirt is fine. The game cover is overkill.
-
Unique designs are cool, so game clothing is fine.

Oh cool it's this thread again. This pasta is pretty cold.

Music and gaming shirts? Sure. TV shirts? Now those are just tacky.

If you wear gaming clothes, you are a social outcast with few friends. Fact. Every person I've seen that outwardly displays their love for video games accurately fits that description. It's not even a stereotype.

Who keeps bumping all these really old threads? Stop it.
Posted by: o DeathCubeK o Who cares what people wear?
A lot of people do. Presentation is a representation of yourself mah boi.

Who cares what people wear?

This sucker's got a regular spot in my shirt rotation. If other people don't like it when I wear gaming shirts or other less than fashionable shirts then that's their problem. I wear what I like and encourage others to do the same.
-
Wear a potato sack around if you want, I don't care. Fashion is not something that interests me.
-
I wear my Burn Bright, Burn Blue shirt from time to time and no one has ever said anything about it.
-
I'm a outcast at my school already so it doesn't really matter what i wear.
-
When I see someone in public with it I really don't care but I don't think it really suits me.
-
Most people I know that wear it are -blam!- weird. But I dont have anything against it
-
It depends. I've seen some video game clothing online that look pretty alright. I see it more as clothes when I know me and my wife aren't going out and just chilling at home.
-
I think its stupid to care what someone wears its not hurting you so why should you care.
-
I would never wear anything game related. My friend wears a Battlefield 3 t-shirt to school then complains about not having a girlfriend. He won't take any advice off anyone though.
-
I Don't have anything game related, but I really want an N7 hoodie.
-
I'll rock a "Burn bright, burn blue" or any other Bungie/Halo shirt. I'm not ashamed.
-
I will never purchase video game clothing, or wear them.
