Undiscovered Halo 3 Easter Egg
In the "Bungie Mail Sack 9.0"

Looks like no more information for us. We must do the rest of the work, ourselves.
Here is what we know, so far.
-Easter egg is on a specific day
-Easter egg happens in a loading screen.
Based on that information, it could happen any day of the year, in a loading screen.
But, what is a loading screen? Most of the Halo 3 loading is done in lobby..
I figure, it's when you complete a mission, without scoring on. You come to the screen with the Halo ring filling up. That is the only loading screen I can think of.
Activating the Easter egg, seems to be most likely a button combination. How else would you activate one during a loading screen?
What we need to figure out
-The day
-How to activate the egg

In the newest mail sack he mention "eggS" emphasis on the S. Which means theres more than one easter egg left on this game... Who wants to find them?!

We should make a private group dedicated to finding this thing... with a forum for brainstorming the date. I think you guys are thinking to much about the button code, but a date on the loading screen seems more realistic. A date thats hidden somewhere, then if we see it ill disconnect from live and play every map looking for it. Hows that sound?

Im pretty sure it was the Assassin Skull, someone opened up the games code and found that there was an extra skull placed on a map, but no one knew where and no one knew which map... I have a feeling this might be it... The original thread had tons of pages to it, and it got locked for off topicness...

Just run through Floodgate from Rally Point Alpha(?) and in the loading screen try the code. Try it for a few different dates, see if you get any luck.

All this talk about a button combination has brought something to my attention. What if the combination is the Konami Code? We could try the release date of a few of the games that this code was in and see if that works.

Just an idea about those loading screens... Halo 3: Multiplayer Disc that was included in ODST. Perhaps the message is hidden in a loading screen from that disc.

He says that he put the easter-egg in there for his wife, maybe if you set the date on the day of their anniversary, and finish all of the levels (thats the only way of seeying all the loading screens), you will see some text or something... You have 365 combination out there though... and 8 levels to beat...

It'll either be on Her birthday, their anniversary, or valentines day. This means I must play all of Halo 3 everyday and watch every load screen until I find it.
