So I've been considering buying the two PC versions lately and I have been unsucessful in finding a higher quality texture pack for the game. It's likely someone here would have one... Right?
Anyway, it will be greatly appreciated if someone were to give me a link to one. Thanks in advance.

Hey folks, I had a pretty long paragraph written out there Syx about the textmod before I saw your post xD. The guide I wrote up is out of date although everything in it still applies, things such as OpenSauce, CMT SPv3, and injectSMAA have come out recently and I haven't been able to update the guide as it is now locked -_-

There was a project a while back that was updating the graphics of Halo: Combat Evolved PC. It was called "Halo FTW", and most recently "HaloFTW2". Sadly enough, both projects were cancelled. You can still get a lot ov their finished maps here, though. Here's the thread at Modacity.net There's also this project being worked on by "SorrySoldOut". He hasn't updated anyone on how he's doing so far in a while, though. He has maintained in the past that he will not walk away from the project but many people feel like he might have. We're really long over do for some information. [Edited on 04.05.2012 7:23 PM PDT]
The closest you'll get to a texture pack for Halo PC will be the Graphics tweaks guide that Zetren made a while back (seen here), it really does improve the look of the game drastically. If you want Halo 3/Reach style textures, then look at CMT SPv3 with Open Sauce for Halo Custom Edition, it even adds Brutes to the mix along with new weapons and the VISR mode seen in ODST. Halo 2 Vista has nothing like this that i'm aware of, i'm not even sure what i've suggested is what you're looking for but hopefully it may be of some use to you.
Ok thank you, I've had no luck so far in finding it so this is a real help.
