Classic Eggman vs. Modern Eggman
Is it just me or has eggman acctually became an actual legit foe in video games? It seems like before he was putting faces on robots and turtles and stuff and now he's making legit killing robots.
What do you guys think about this?

[/quote] Again, no: The English instruction manual for his 1991 debut game Sonic the Hedgehog described the character's full name as "Doctor Ivo Robotnik" while the original Japanese version's instruction manual for the same game called him "Doctor Eggman". Then in 1999's Sonic Adventure, the character was called both "Doctor Robotnik" and "Doctor Eggman" in the English version, with all following English releases to date referring to him as "Doctor Eggman". Yuji Naka has explained that "Robotnik" is the character's real name while "Eggman" is a "common name taken after his shape." Despite this, the Japanese Sonic Channel profile listed his full name as unknown. So technically his name is Dr. Ivo Robotnik, Eggman just comes from his "shape" and is just a "common name" or a "nickname". Usually I call people by their names, not nicknames. Classic Eggman is much more mentally stable. I prefer him.

New Eggman. Don't shoot me but I actually like the Sonic 06 Eggman because his creations actually looked like a threat and somewhat real. His more human appearance was also not as bad as people make him out to be. Once Sonic Adventure came out Eggman's plans actually be came legit. Perfect Chaos will always be my favourite end boss.
