No poll.
Wh do you think and why. Try not to speak from a nostalgic point of view.
NO TAKANUVA
I thin Toa Metru would win.

Series went downhill after metru nui. I blame the loss of gear movement and the convoluted story.
-
I wish I had a few hundred dollars to spare so I could go and buy every Bionicle and comic that I missed out on.
Posted by: spirit of sand Metru obviously. Metru, through careful analysis made when I was younger, is the best set of bionicles. Not only are they super sturdy and fun to play with, they were the last to keep the gear movement mechanism, and looked sexy as all hell.
By using the gear movement and a little gift from my parents, I turned the white Knight-like bionicle and added a motor that turned him into an invincible force of destruction Oh the memories...
-
Nuva, hands down.
-
I remember the summer of 2005 I created my own Bionicle story that had the maatorans you could get from McDonalds a few years before that turned into Toa and the Toa Nuva would become those old guys. I created artwork of each of the Toa, a brief outline of the story, and a letter to whoever the writer was for the comics telling him he should use my story. The next generation would later pretty much be a exact copy of what I came up with the summer before.

Toa Nuva Phantoka Come at me, bro. Out of the three listed, Toa Nuva, because they have Lewa.

I still have the first 17 or issues from the comics. Flipping through them right now. Wow, 1st issue is from June 2001. I would have been only 7 years old. 2nd page: jizz-worthy drawing of Kopaka. He was always my favorite. Oh, I miss being a little kid sometimes. [Edited on 03.27.2012 11:33 AM PDT]
Posted by: Samawamal
Posted by: Darcsyde I can't even remember any of those. All I remember is that I have that Golden Mask movie on DVD and that the browser adventure game was friggin awesome.
Really? Toa Nuva were 2002 and Netru are only 2004
I can't name em, I remember what they looked like, and I remember the forest, earth, water, etc factions, but I don't know any names. I had a few Bionicles too, but I think they've long been sold off in garage sales or thrown away. I need to find and beat that browser game too...

Powerwise, toa ignika/marhi were broken as crap. Why no toa Hagah? (Rahaga original forms) Toa Metru barely could use thier masks.

All I remember is that I have that Golden Mask movie on DVD and that the browser adventure game was friggin awesome.
Amen. I think I stopped after I had collected everything up to the Rakshi, or whatever they are. I even had the remote-control crab-things (I can see them from where I am by peeking into my closet). Man, I need to break those out again sometime.
Posted by: Halo Spartan 27 The first generation, if you talk about the bionicles thing A part of me died when they moved on to another gen., and it was then that I realized that I had to move on to.
The new gen were my favorite. But to be fair that was when I really stated collecting them. Besides its not like you cant have the fight together right?
