I remember the summer of 2005 I created my own Bionicle story that had the maatorans you could get from McDonalds a few years before that turned into Toa and the Toa Nuva would become those old guys. I created artwork of each of the Toa, a brief outline of the story, and a letter to whoever the writer was for the comics telling him he should use my story. The next generation would later pretty much be a exact copy of what I came up with the summer before.

Metru obviously. Metru, through careful analysis made when I was younger, is the best set of bionicles. Not only are they super sturdy and fun to play with, they were the last to keep the gear movement mechanism, and looked sexy as all hell.

I still have the first 17 or issues from the comics. Flipping through them right now. Wow, 1st issue is from June 2001. I would have been only 7 years old. 2nd page: jizz-worthy drawing of Kopaka. I had a few Bionicles too, but I think they've long been sold off in garage sales or thrown away. I need to find and beat that browser game too...
