Right now I currently have around 5200 resources and 3540 Effective Military, and Im about to attack the Cerberus Base. My Galactic Readyness is at 85% in the Traverse and 76% in everything else.
Should I attack? What are the standards for a "mission success"?

Go play multiplayer after you get full green bar.
It's really annoyinfg that EA is making us have to play multiplayer for these "Theaters of War" readiness. ugh, I just want to beat the damn game already!

NICE SPOILER BRO

I attacked the base with 2522 EMS and only 68% galactic readiness. Not quite as disastrous as I thought it would be. Go for it, I say.
Posted by: Atomic Tea
Posted by: Statefarm98 Honestly, nothing you do changes a damn thing. Everyone's ready in the end. You'd have to purposely choose every wrong option to not be ready, or ignore every mission. Of course, you should go for 5,000 strength.
Not true. You get an ending where

if you choose the destruction path and have over 5000 Effective Military.
I know, but you would have to be doing everything wrong to have less then 4,000 strength, which is good enough.

You can get the *best ending* by having 4000 effective military strength and SPOILER! Kill the illusive man and save anderson then pick destroy

You should still have more than 5,000 before you begin, though.
What missions get me good War Assets then? I've got the Quarians, Geth, Turians, Krogan, Salarians, and Asari. Oh, and the incredibly important Volus Bombing Fleet.
Scanning planets and whatnot. Side missions as well.

You can do it at any point where galactic readiness is 50%. Everything else just contributes to odds of success and what ending you will get.

Get your Effective Military and Galactic Readiness up a little more. It will be worth it.
-
Get 5000 effective military strength.
