Gravemind: famous quotes.

[Two more tentacles descend holding a struggling Arbiter.]

Regret: Stay were you are! Nothing can be done until my sermon is complete!

Regret: Of all the objects our Lords left behind, there are none so worthless
as these Oracles! They know nothing of the Great Journey!
2401: And you know nothing about containment! You have demonstrated complete
disregard for even the most basic of protocols!
Gravemind: This one's containment...and this one's Great Journey are the same.

I would rather have a boss battle with Gravemind than his puppets. That room with Cortana in it would be a good place to introduce a new Flood Pure Form, Legend of Zelda mini-boss style.

My favourite has always been, "One is made f steel and bone and has his mind concluded, the other is of flesh and faith and is the more deluded." Halo 2 Gravemind was one of my favourite characters in fiction. In Halo 3 he became more like the classic evil villain archetype, and that made him a bit weaker.
