I usually use the built in recorder with Xfire but I want to record gameplay from the new CMT v3 T&R but it will glitch if I use Xfire with it.
So recommend me a good program, please and thank you!
Also:
I'd prefer a simple program that won't require much of a learning process.

They all affect performance and pretty much to the same degree too (except for those that compress heavily on the fly). There's nothing they can do to avoid that. [Edited on 03.04.2012 3:27 AM PST]

Fraps affects performance afaik. I used to use a program called PlayClaw, as it has compression options. Of course, that doesn't mean it's flawless. If you're gonna use Fraps, get Xvid + VirtualDub so you can compress videos. Alternatively, use Windows Movie Maker. Also consider AVS Video Remaker although I'm not sure if that works with the avi produced by Fraps. If you're going with PlawClaw, get something newer than version 1.8. Afaik, PlayClaw v2.1.0 Build 1502 is the most recent version and available torrent. Personally, I prefer Fraps as it seems more stable. [Edited on 03.04.2012 2:47 AM PST]

Fraps 2.3.2 is free, easy to use and portable. Only drawback is big file size, you can choose between half and full size, choose half. Uploaded myself so it's clean as far as I know.

I think he means the OS/Yelo version. If you have those installed it doesn't let Xfire run.

Instead of saying "screw it" and shelling out $30, you should consider figuring out why Xfire isn't working for you yet working just fine for the rest of us.

Fraps. It comes at a $30 price point last time I checked, though. There are no good free video recording programs. :/ [Edited on 03.03.2012 5:47 PM PST]
