Paul Bertone (Design Lead for Halo2/3/ODST) left Bungie.
I checked out the "meet the team" page recently and it seems that it has been updated to some degree. I noticed that Paul Bertone is no longer on that page under the Grizzled Ancients catergory; he was on that page not so long ago. This means that he has (most likely) left Bungie.
Paul was one of the designers for Halo: CE and design lead for Halo 2, Halo 3 and ODST. Good luck to him, wherever he decides to go next. Although I must say it's sad news that he left his studio after working there for so long.

Mobile Dev eh? I have little faith in that market but I'm excited to see what a good storytelling could bring about on that medium.

He wants to make iOS games, Bungie publishes iOS games. Take his game company, partner with Bungie, inside Bungie. Alex Seropian has his own company, he's kind of back at Bungie. Everyone wins.

I like it when Bungie stars move on to do new things. They'll probably make something else that is awesome and that I can enjoy in addition to Bugnie originals.

Even though it is sad to see some old employees go, it is always good to see them bring in some other amazing people.

It's sad when someone who works for a company for a long time leaves, although if there's something Bungie is lacking it's not talented employees.

ODST was a masterpiece if you ask me. Sad to see him go. Best of luck though, and with a resume like that im sure he'll be able to keep his career going if thats what he plans on doing.
