Render-to-Video Request Thread
As of [url=http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&cid=32028]March 31st, 2012[/url] all Bungie's Halo related services will cease to update, becoming a monument for all your sins.
This thread is not the place to ask questions about the change; if you have any questions or want to share your thoughts I suggest posting them [url=http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=69782750]here[/url].
You may use this thread to post any cool clip(s) you still have lying around in the hope some kind soul, who is at present sitting on a mountain of minutes they have no hope of spending, will render the clip(s) for you.
To keep this thread manageable there are a few simple rules:
- Please try to keep chatter to a minimum.
- When requesting a render post a direct link to the clip(s) you want rendered, with a short description; no links to fileshares please.

Status: [rendered/unrendered][/quote]- If you have rendered a person's video send them a PM, rather than replying to the thread.
- Having received a PM edit your post, changing its status from unrendered to rendered and thanking whoever rendered it. This allows people skimming the thread to identify already rendered clips at a glance, increasing the chance of unrendered clips being rendered.

Thank you to the web/server team for creating and maintaining this phenomenal service; it really has enriched my community experience. At a more general level it illustrated forum threads, to support arguments or show off maps. At a more personal level it has immortalized hilarious moments and preserved great memories. I really appreciate this lasting record of the fun that I have had playing Halo. Thank you also to everyone within this thread that used their excess minutes. In the very least you gave me a fair few laughs along the way. More importantly however I think the above 'personal appreciation' will resonate with many individuals. You have done a great service for this community in preserving moments which will be looked back upon for years to come. I remember being excited when Render-to-Video finally became a reality after many months of anticipation and am sorry to see it go. I have now feelings of anticipation for Bungie's new project and I look forward to new experieriences and memories, which I am sure will also be looked back upon fondly. It would be far too cliché to now end with "See you starside", although I seem to have dug myself a bit of a hole here with my heartfelt soppy-ness. Ah, what the heck. See you starside.

So you literally can't render anything anymore? Right on. I had a few clips i would have liked rendered, but no biggie. [Edited on 03.31.2012 5:09 AM PDT]

I managed to use up the last of my render minutes just minutes before three. I'm going to miss it :'(

BUT - any videos that render after now run a risk of disappearing again (forever) around 11AM because... well, it's complicated. But they might. So be sure to download these last videos in the next 11 hours.
