• Anyone that kills solaire is a total bastard. (also darkwraiths) Same applies to seigmeyer. He went out like total a badass. http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/8179/350662-big_boss_salute_super.jpg

  •
Posted by: Ankrow P.S. WTF is the Chaos Bed supposed to be? >_>
They are just some bug enemies late in the, nothing really special. Dark souls version of the flood (the parasite not the forums).
The massive tree thing with random orbs that make it stronger when I stab them?

There's a special place in hell for those that kill Solaire the Sun Bro. To everyone talking about Solaire in Izalith, it is possible to prevent what happens to him, and have him help you with the final boss.

  •
Posted by: Hylebos *SPOILER*
Posted by: PR1M3 R1B I killed him after he went insane. It's worth seeing him go crazy at least once, it's really tragic actually.
I actually got a back stab off on him early on in the fight and I could have easily killed him, but I dodged his attacks, listening to his insane words with great sadness in my heart, waiting for him to finish before I killed him. "My sun... is setting... it's dark... so dark..." Truly sad. For all of their dialog, I never got invested in any of the characters in Skyrim as I did with some of the characters in Dark Souls. Well, except for Lydia. I suppose it goes to show that actions speak much louder than words in videogames. P.S. WTF is the Chaos Bed supposed to be? >_>
They are just some bug enemies late in the, nothing really special. Dark souls version of the flood (the parasite not the forums). Ps it is possible through a very complicated side quest to save solaire

  • You get his armor, sword, and shield. His sword and shield are super boss, not even gonna lie. I killed him after he went insane. It's worth seeing him go crazy at least once, it's really tragic actually.

Second, you probably want to get the white soapstone from him first before attacking him, just to be safe. Third, you'll miss out on the chance to summon him for help on certain bosses. *SPOILER* Fourth, later in the game he'll be taken over by Chaos Bugs and will attack you and you'll end up putting him out of his misery anyways, that is unless you do a certain thing to prevent him from becoming Hollow. I don't quite know what, I skimmed the wiki today after that event happened for me, I just know that there's a way to do it. Let me tell you, Dark Souls sure does know how to throw your emotions for a loop. You grow strong alongside this helpful knight, and he begins to become demoralized, and eventually goes crazy, forcing you to kill him. That's a bitter pill to swallow, and you'll miss out on that if you're a dick and kill him off first thing. *SPOILER*
Lol I didn't know. I just read something somewhere that said kill him and get some armor.
His armor isn't very good.

  • I killed him on the first encounter. Unfortunately, the Dragon later killed me.
