Questions about the HALO: REACH BETA?

Please stop asking me what will be in the BETA, when it's coming out, can you customize your spartan; I don't know, I do NOT work at Bungie, contrary to the belief of most people who read this.

Here's what you should know:
+ [b]You get an invitation to the BETA for buying the game, NOT pre-ordering.[/b]
+ You will be able to download the BETA in the Spring of next year.
+ And the BETA will be downloadable from the Extras menu in ODST.

+ Also, there is NO confirmed release date. Just sometime in the Spring.

Since a few questions keep popping up, I thought I'd answer them.
+ The BETA has NO confirmed release date.
+ The game is an FPS.
+ There has not been any talk of how long the BETA will last. However, if it's like the Halo 3 BETA, expect it to last about 2-3 weeks.
+ 'New Intel' Is the extras menu.

The Reach BETA is supposed to be Multiplayer only, no campaign.

According to a couple messages I received, yes, you can access the BETA from a child account.

The Halo: Reach Xbox LIVE Multiplayer beta will be accessible via the Halo 3: ODST disc, you'll need an active Xbox LIVE Gold subscription to participate, and there are no dates or details just yet.
As soon as we have them, we'll clue you in. Until then, sit tight and hold onto your discs.
You do NOT need to have pre-ordered your copy. In fact, you could buy your disc the day the beta goes live and still get in.

If it was anything similar, expect 2-3 weeks long. But that's my speculation, so don't hold your breath. OH, and BTW, the beta starts May 3rd. -I REALLY hope this gets stickied back.
