In my opinion this is the most badass helmet out there but I looked all over for it and still can't find it, any suggestions flood?

Ive found an ebony plate and gauntlets before, so i assume a helmet could also be found. Why not just smith it yourself Smiting is the easiest skill to level up.

I find out last night actually, while doing the "Arniel's Endeavor" quest. I just found one in a chest.
Posted by: dambem
Posted by: coolcor13
Posted by: dambem Here goes again. To get a ebony helmet you must first sacrifice your followers in a very specific way, you need to go to the bleak falls barrow, kill all the bandits that reside outside, then you must tell your follower to wait in the 3rd arc, afterwards you need to one shot your follower with a un upgraded iron dagger, with no enchantments, this takes a while so i recommend using a shout, as the game does a glitch in which shouts dont count as the one hit, but you must finish them off with a iron dagger. Next you must travel across the corners of skyrim, afterwards a curior will deliver you a Message from one Furhasinag, this is another dragon, people dont really know much about him, but when you visit him in *Redacted for spoilers* he will be wearing a ebony helmet, you may kill him or do his quest entitled "The Wrath Of The Slime Eaters" in which you go on a boat, crash in a place called *Redacted for spoilers* and you must kill every single person there, afterwards the dragon will come to you and say "You have earned my helmet mortal!" he gives you the helmet, then you ride him into the moonlight, and arrive in whiterun with the helmet on you.
1/10
Hah, someone does not understand a masterpiece when they see it.
Alright I admit I was being a little harsh. 4/10

Random loot or crafting, I do not believe there is a fixed Ebony helmet. [Edited on 01.09.2012 10:53 AM PST]
Posted by: coolcor13 I don't know any exact locations. I do know that ebony armor is usually leveled, so I suggest leveling up and fighting some difficult opponents. High-level Draugr usually have ebony items on them. Personally, I'd forget the ebony helmet and wear Konahrik instead, but that's just me.
I also noted Nahkirrin (or whatever it's spelled) is on the same league as a Daedric Helmet, except for the enchantment boosts of course.

Usually I go to the Bee and Barb, wait for a jerk to call me a milk drinker, intimidate him/her then get them to fight me (thus making it legal and no bounty is involved) and I beat the poop out of them. I once got an Ebony Helmet off some Khajiit that was full of himself, and an Ebony Chestplate off an Orc that was full of herself. Not that I needed it though, I just smith my own armor.
-
You find them as random loot when you are level 35+
-
I've had trouble finding Ebony helmets too. You can try using console commands or crafting it.
-
I've found two before i dont know where though...
-
Forge one.
