Ok this may sound a little redundant but hear me out. Both the covenant and gihadist leaders (The phrophets and all muslim extreamist leaders)deliberatly missinterprit the things they belive. The covenant phrophets were told that the humans are the dcendants of the forrunners but the phrophets munipulate the minds of the rest of the covenant and start a war of genocide. The islam extreamist leaders have also done this by blowing themselves up in the name of allah and want to destroy everyone who is not of their belife or different. They completly change the things the qoran says about the islam belife and take them to murdering heights. When you think about it they are kinda related.
