The covenant is like the Islam jihadist!
Ok this may sound a little redundant but hear me out. Both the covenant and gihadist leaders (The phrophets and all muslim extreamist leaders)deliberatly missinterprit the things they belive. The covenant phrophets were told that the humans are the dcendants of the forrunners but the phrophets munipulate the minds of the rest of the covenant and start a war of genocide.
The islam extreamist leaders have also done this by blowing themselves up in the name of allah and want to destroy everyone who is not of their belife or different. They completly change the things the qoran says about the islam belife and take them to murdering heights.
When you think about it they are kinda related. If this was what bungie plannd then way to go!!!! VERY VERY CLEVER!!!!!!

[/quote] I have it perfectly sorted out, thank you. In my opinion, this is not a discussion ABOUT religion or politics. It is a discussion about how a fictional story is based on both current and historical events that include the misuse and abuse of a religion to excuse violence and genocide. I consider this to be about writing fiction, and making parallels with known events both current, historical or even mythological. It is my job to interpret the rules and I am entrusted to use my judgment to do so. You are welcome to disagree with me, you are welcome to bring it to the attention of my superiors. If they agree with you, then I have an opportunity to learn from my mistakes and be a better moderator for their forums in the future. Are you willing to state the same? That if your opinion is not shared or agreed with that perhaps you could have been wrong and should consider adjusting your views? If not..... well. There you go.
