What in God's name was that huge giant opening in the ship, where Echo 4-19 got shot down?
I mean, it looked like the ship was being held together by that one little bridge, and you never see such a large spilt in the ship from the outside. And it wasn't damage from the crash, it was called a "service entrance". Still makes no sense.
It's bothered me sense '01, and ever since then I've never gotten an answer haha
Anyone else know what I mean?
Posted by: UNSCboy
Posted by: Rab good question. I've got another one. How come the distance you drive in that sequence is longer than the total length of the ship?
This is why haha, check this out guys.
I always knew the Warthog was really silly, but I had no idea it was that silly. LolDorsalStructure I can see it now... Bungie Employee #1: Okay, so how do we make the ending more dramatic? Bungie Employee #2: Add a Warthog run! Bungie Employee #1: How? It's a starship. Bungie Employee #2: Just claim the ship has some dorsal highway structure. They'll buy it. Player: WTF? Why is the run longer than the length of the ship? *Goes online, sees layout of The Maw* Player: Seems legit.

It only measures the distance in a straight line, which is still longer than the ship.
Posted by: HaI0Fighter92 Scaled The track is 3x longer than the Autumn itself.
Suddenly, everything makes sence. But it's just a game. Now if this was in an RPG or something along the lines of that, I would certanly care more.
Posted by: wcd45 Guys come on, this was ten years ago, can we not just all agree that it provided the opportunity for one last tear jerking moment before the end of the game? How many of you have stopped the hog, jumped in the gunners seat and took out the two covenent that destroyed Foe Hammer? I know it doesn't make any sense but do all things in video games need to mean something. Next you're gonnna have people complaining about multiple Sgt Johnsons.

Posted by: wcd45 complaining about multiple Sgt Johnsons.

Posted by: wcd45 Sgt Johnsons.
.!!!!! I found our next topic guys...

You'll also notice that the final run alog the Autumn's "Dorsal service structure" is a total of 3.5 kilometers long while the craft only measures 1.17km in total.

if you get out of your warthog and look down its completely solid. Its just a little gap near the top
-
-
Yup, it never did make any sense to me. Even if the ship was somehow cleaved in two, why would it be so clean with this nice little bridge connecting the two parts?

Work of fiction. /Thread.
