hi flood! My teeth have some stains on them but it costs too much to go to the dentist. Fortunately, I have a Dremel rotary tool and a few polishing buffing wheels and some Cerium oxide. I think if I mixed the cerium with some paraffin to make some polish, I can use it to polish my teeth with my dremel. It is exactly what the dentist does, only his polish tastes like bubble gum or orange or mint.
Should I try it?

We all knew you were joking around, but linking to a gory picture of some 5-year-old with a cut-up mouth is inappropriate. This thread is locked.

I was crying for about 2 minutes straight, and I don't cry easily. My mouth is full of blood and I think I may have to go to the hospital. Maybe it isn't as bad as I think it is. Either way, I am definitely not going to do that again.
Walk it off and seal the cut with bleach.
I only have Tide with bleach. Would that work?

Sounds good to me. Try using a fine grain sandpaper and buzz your teeth on the highest setting to really make those teeth shine. [Edited on 12.12.2011 11:59 AM PST]

Try it. Get someone to film it. Show us.
Posted by: ABotelho I'm positive the flavors in the stuff they use at the dentist is there for a reason. Who knows, you might puke from the taste or something.
I don't think it has any taste. Anyway, I decided to go ahead and do it. I melted the parafin and poured it into a dixie cup. I am now mixing the cerium into it. This should take a few minutes to cool down, but I'll give it a try once it does.
Posted by: omega cheater
Posted by: OMARRCHR I wouldn't recommend it. Just go to your dentist.
Don't listen to this guy. It costs moneys. Just do it. Post a video on youtube.
Well it's better to have a professional doing it than yourself. Who knows what you could do to yourself without the experience? If money is the problem, just try to find some other means to clean your teeth other than this. [Edited on 12.12.2011 11:48 AM PST]

Teeth are difficult to clean with a dremel. Make sure to set it on the highest RPM possible.
Posted by: Studness4 Just use some whitestrips.
whitening strips don't remove the stains, they just bleach them. Plus they hurt me a lot for some reason.

Just use some whitestrips.
