In Myth as you all know, there is an eternal cycle of villain rises, Hero kills him, Hero comes back as the lever much later.
Could that mean Alric could be the next Leveler in Myth?
Like how Balor aka Connacht was a hero through the golden age killing the current leveler only to come back as the new Leveler in Myth: The Fallen Lords.
Also the fact Soulblighter might of broken the cycle forever.
What are your thoughts?

The history of Myth would suggest that Alric is destined to return as the next Leveler. After Myth TFL, he is the only remaining Avatara. By the end of Myth 2, all of the other Avatara and Fallen Lords have been killed (though death isn't always permanent in Myth). This means that at the end of Myth 2, Alric is not only the Emperor of the Light but also the most powerful living mage in all of Myth. If he survived long enough to see the next cycle, he would be the obvious choice for the Leveler. It is difficult to determine if the cycle was broken, let alone which event could have broken it. MBO has some interesting theories on the nature of The Cycle. Personally I don't see how Soulblighter could have broken the cycle. He was a Fallen Lord and became a powerful sorcerer, but he was not the Leveler. What is odd about the Cycle is that it seems like Balor and the Dark should have won. Connacht defeated Moagim to start the Wolf Age, which was an age ruled by the Light. One thousand years later, Connacht returned as Balor wearing the mantle of the Leveler and sacked Muirthemne. This seemingly should have started the next age of darkness. However Alric and the Light were able to defeat Balor, cutting off his head and throwing it into the Great Devoid. So if it was the Dark's turn, why did Alric win? It is possible that Alric was trying to break the cycle by disposing of Balor in the way he did. History has shown that simply killing the evil sorcerer wearing the mantle of the Leveler does not permanently destroy the Leveler. It simply delays his return for another 1000 years. Balor's still living head was thrown into the Great Devoid, a mysterious and seemingly infinitely bottomless pit. It is possible that the Leveler could be trapped in Balor's still living head as it spends the rest of eternity plummeting into the bottomless Great Devoid. If that is true (and I have no way to prove that it is), then it is more likely that Alric is responsible for breaking the Cycle.
They decapitate him, and plan to take his head to the Great Devoid, a bottomless pit created by the Ancient Callieach, an extinct race of powerful magic users. Only by doing this would Balor finally be destroyed. It is believed that by throwing Balor's head into the Great Devoid, the spirit of the Leveler itself would be destroyed, not merely its mortal form.

I am not sure TBH, I thought Balor was possessed by the Leveler and they just stopped it for that age. I thought they meant Balor would never come back but the Leveler would return 1,000 years later.
