Ryu Hayabusa is the worst Ninja ever.
Of all time.
I wouldn't even call him a Ninja.
Real Ninjas are the masters of stealth and deadly kills and are still unseen (Sam Fisher). But Ryu on the other hand just slashes everything to -blam!- and uses no stealth or anything that a real Ninja would use in a situation.
He's just a dude who is good with a sword and wears a Ninja costume. Yes he can jump and run along walls but that isn't special to real Ninjas.
He's a poser.

Ryu Hayabusa is single handedly taking out ENTIRE ARMADA'S of Fiends bent on destroying humanity, and the world! Do you think a Super Ninja with Super Powers has the time to stop the mother -blam!-ing apocolypse via stealth tactics, against entire armies!? No! He's one BAMF, that goes in gunz blazing! Or in this case, sword swinging, fireball chucking, explosives tossing, lightning striking. Again. The damn guy is preventing the apocalypse, against entire armies. Not even Sam Fisher as awesome as he is, could take out entire armies and their leaders himself as he is right now with his conventional stealth tactics. Yeah pretty much. He's more of a Samurai if anything, the most Ninja thing he ever did was his wall hopping and Ninja stars.
