[i] In orbit above Balaho, the Unggoy homeworld, two UNSC ships comes out of hyperspace. The first ship's name is etched into the side panels of the ship, the Devastator. Powering up several retroengineered plasma turrets on the underside of the ship, the Devastator launches boiling plasma into the atmosphere of the planet, destroying major cities and damaging the ecosystem. Balaho's atmosphere being mostly methane, the effect soon spreads. The grunts put up an energy shield, but a MK 19 naquadria enhanced fusion warhead (Stargate SG1 reference there) is "beamed" in through the shield. The atmosphere of the planet becomes nothing more than a gigantic firestorm, burning all traces of life off the now barren rock. The second ship, of Ancient design (another Stargate reference) unleashes all of its drone weapons upon Balaho. The glowing squidlike weapons slice through the planet's crust, opening a small hole into the planet's central core. The UNSC ship launches its deadly payload into the core of the planet, a NOVA bomb. With 5 seconds left on the detonation, the two ships speed off into hyperspace leaving the planet to explode in a fiery death. At the very edge of the grunt's solar system, a ONI prowler watches as the grunts are dealed a extinction level attack. [/i]
