7 Billion Grunts - Community Challenge *Update 8* WE DIDI IT!!!!!
I would like to challenge the Halo players of the world to help us reach this number,

Update: Good news! Stosh has confirmed that the stats include Grunts killed in Fire Fight.

It looks like we will be able to reach our goal [b]much[/b] sooner then Bungie Day 2010: - 5,000,910,584 Grunts killed to date - 1,999,089,416 Grunts remaining - 7,190,969.12 Grunts killed per day until 07/07/2010 will give us exactly 7,000,000,000 - 46,558,285 Grunts killed (so far) today - 42.94 days remaining (if 46,558,285 Grunts are killed per day) Those numbers were extracted from the Online Stats, so they may be a little off depending on when it last updated. I also don't know how far through the day it is for where those stats are talking about, and I doubt we will kill 46 million Grunts a day, every day for the next 43 days. I'm just saying, we only have to kill about 7 million Grunts a day, the last time I calculated that number it was 12 million, so we're reaching this goal pretty easily. Might as well make it 7,777,777,777 Grunts for Bungie day. In fact, 46 million Grunts a day until Bungie Day 2010 will mean another 12 billion Grunts by then, of course when people stop playing as much Firefight it isn't going to be 46 million a day.
