Promotional Video Contest
[b]Promotional Video Contest![/b]
Even seen a clip from Bungie promoting their new game that just made you go “wow”? Here’s your chance to make your own video promoting one of Bungie’s games and make them go “wow.”*
Using footage from any of Bungie’s games, from Gnop! to Halo 3, make a 1:30 (max) video promoting that game, or you can sling them all into one video and make a promotion for Bungie Studios, or you film one yourself using legos! The point is, "Be creative". Then post your video on Youtube.com (among others) and post the link here. The contest will go through seven^ rounds of elimination before declaring a victor. Below are the specifications.

[*]Must be Bungie related
[*]Must contain the Bungie logo at some point
[*]Must be no longer than 1:30
[*]Must be your own creation
[*]Creativity is a big plus
[*]Must not infringe on Bungie's [url=http://www.bungie.net/Help/NoticePage.aspx?section=CodeOfConduct]Code of Conduct[/url] (i.e. No profanity, No racial slurs, No nudity.)

I have another question to whoever can answer it. How do you convert the Movie from windows movie maker into something that can be uploaded on Putfile? or should i just use youtube?

Putfile uses WMV and QuickTime, so there's no need. Should we assume that all videos are viewed, or are they going to be put on the first post or something?

what i mean is it saves as some crazy, MSWMM file and i can't upload it to my putfile. I don't know how to change the movie into a different format like avi or something along that line

Did you even render it? If not, simply go to File>Save Movie File, and choose My Computer, and then follow the rest of the steps. If it is rendered, I have no idea what may be wrong. :-/

And honestly, I thought the quality on H.B.O. was kinda low, so I decided to record it all myself. Plus it wasn't in the right format for my editing software. It's technicly a promo for Halo 3, with a little Two Towers theme to it. Enjoy.

Wait until you see my movie. It will be like nothing shown here yet. Not telling what it is though, but if I follow through with it, it should be cool. I'm basically using my pc and my bro's mac to work with this (iMovie?). I basically just started it today, so even I'm not 100% sure how it will turn out. I'm just saying its good now, because, well, STFU it's good. lol, I'll post it when it's done and good. If its finished before the 29th >< Btw, I have yet to use iMovie. My brother said it's better than Windows movie maker. Plus WMM is gettin kinda old. So I'm gonna try something new. I noticed theres a lot of halo 3 stuff here. Here is my entry for the contest - [url=http://imaginary-factories.com/Halo%203%20Promo.mov]Here [/url] After I watched the Halo 3 trailer a couple of times I thought that it would be really cool if Master Cheif was introduced in a kinda spaghetti western style. So I took the legendary music of Ennio Morricone and re-edited the trailer to fit the song, "A Fist Full of Money." The video is hosted on my own site, mainly because I edited in High Defintion and in Widescreen. I noticed that the rules say you need to either put your name in the trailer or somewhere on the you-tube site, but since I did neither the only evidence I can give you is, I own the site www.imaginary-factories.com and you can check my other site... www.b-s-p.moonfruit.com for proof that I am the true creator of this video.
