Promotional Video Contest
[b]Promotional Video Contest![/b]
Even seen a clip from Bungie promoting their new game that just made you go “wow”? Here’s your chance to make your own video promoting one of Bungie’s games and make them go “wow.”*
Using footage from any of Bungie’s games, from Gnop! to Halo 3, make a 1:30 (max) video promoting that game, or you can sling them all into one video and make a promotion for Bungie Studios, or you film one yourself using legos! The point is, "Be creative". Then post your video on Youtube.com (among others) and post the link here. The contest will go through seven^ rounds of elimination before declaring a victor. Below are the specifications.

[*]Must be Bungie related
[*]Must contain the Bungie logo at some point
[*]Must be no longer than 1:30
[*]Must be your own creation
[*]Creativity is a big plus

I don't know if anyone noticed… But the idea with my film was to get rid of texture pop-in; I always thought that the cut-scenes in Halo 2 are amazing but the texture pop-in makes them look rubbish so I edited them out. I would also like to enter in this contest.[/quote] No, it's a card you buy and put into your computer to record TV, Video Games, etc. They run at about $50-$99 at Best Buy and CompUSA, prices may vary based sales that may be going on at the time. You put it in your computer (you'll have to take the cover off unless you get a USB one, but they're more expensive), install the software, then plug in the xbox cables (like you would to the TV) (you may need a composite to PC sound converter cable) and hit record. You don't need to take apart your xbox at all. [Edited on 8/9/2006]

Alright, here's mine. I made it within an hour this morning. [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRIoc_6SrAs]Halo 3 Remix(YouTube)[/url] A little info about it: I made it using only Fraps on Halo 2 cutscenes and the Halo 3 trailer. The only other tool I used was Windows Movie Maker. The song is Remembrance, from one of the Halo/Halo 2 soundtracks. [Edited on 8/9/2006]
