Is Chief Mendez A Spartan I?
Title for Reference.
We all know for example that Sgt. Johnson is a Spartan I, he is a kickass marine and loves the battle. Now also i think that Chief Mendez could be another Spartan I, since he is also another kickass marine and loves fighting and is pretty much fearless like Johnson. I dont know about you guys but i see the traits of a Spartan there. Plus he is a crack shot, even the Spartan II's wonder what type of Spartan II he would have made...

But that relevant information should've been included in your OP, rather than trusting Halopedia without providing sources for your readers. If the sources were provided by you, we wouldn't have had this misunderstanding where you expect us to believe an article from Halopedia without backing it up from canon sources. As for Mendez... a Spartan-II trained the IIIs, I don't see why a I couldn't train the IIs. It's been suggested before, but I don't see a lot of supporting proof in Mendez's case.
