I just tried Kikowani Station yesterday and when I reach the area with the Scarab, -blam!- the Chieftain sneaks up on me and kills me. Is there a way to kill the Chieftain before the fight with the Scarab? I want to use the Gravity Hammer to propel myself away from the Scarab's blast. Risky business taking the blow and getting the Optican health pack. I'm too afraid to do what Tyrant did, running past those Stalker Brutes. *shudders* So I want to kill them first.
