Halo reach legendary ending sercet revealed!

There is no such existence! Never actually realising this myself is the fact the existence of a legendary ending in reach is impossible. if you take a good hard look and go back in time you will notice that all legendary endings for previous halo games provided a suspenceful link between it and the next game. And of course seemings how we know whats happens between reach and halo combat evolved there is absolutely no reason for there ever being a legendary ending for reach.

 •
Posted by: anish panchalin The LE should've been the thing from halofest universe panel with Keyes voice actor saying this hilarious thing: Captain Keyes: "We are away......HAHAHAHAAHHA, and the package is with us. So long... look at that planet go" the rest I can't remember, it was hilarious
Reach should of had a funny ending like that. I think it would be funny seeing Noble 6, and the Master Chief dancing around Noble 6's helmet at the end. Or at the end you see the seven members of Noble team standing at a distance walking away. Then the fade away like ghost. [Edited on 08.31.2011 8:12 AM PDT]

 •
Posted by: jedimasterltmr They never actually showed Sergeant Johnson die(until Halo 3). They just made it look like he did but didn't show what happened after he hugged the elite.
The Pillar of Autumn detonation was large enough to destroy Halo. The shock wave, the inferno, and the explosion was in range to reach, and kill them. I'm pretty sure their nothing but ash after that. [Edited on 08.31.2011 7:47 AM PDT]

 •
Posted by: carrot chops if you take a good hard look and go back in time you will notice that all legendary endings for previous halo games provided a suspenseful link between it and the next game.
Also the only Halo game that has a Legendary Ending that has a suspenseful link to the next game is Halo 3. It shows the Master Chief drifting towards the Legendary Planet. Halo Combat Evolved Legendary Ending has Sergent Johnson getting killed which makes it not canon. The only thing its ending shows is the Master Chief escaping Halo the Longsword. So the normal one is canon. That games ending leads into Halo First Strike. Halo First Strike talks about what happened after the ring got destroyed. So Halo's ending is the suspenseful link to Halo First Strike. And Halo First Strike is the suspenseful link to Halo 2. Halo 2 didn't have a Legendary Ending. So the suspenseful link to Halo 3 would be a normal ending. Halo 3 Legendary Ending is leading up to Halo 4. [Edited on 08.31.2011 7:38 AM PDT]

The LE was always about fun ... and think thats is why reach missed out. bungie was not in a fun mood, last game for them and we had to be brought down to that level. And even if you go the 'link to next level' ... CE is being re-release, many have never played the game.

With that ending Sergeant Johnson dies. Which makes it not canon. They just did that for the fun of it.
Actually yes it does they may not have itended it to be a link at first but in halo 2 when you are about to leave the armory right a game start the marine asked johnson if he'll tell him how i made it back home in one piece and he reply "sorry gunns it's classified"
In that ending he dies. So how would he be in Halo 2, and in Halo 3 if he died on the first Halo ring? Sense he died during it. That makes it noncanon. Read Halo: First Strike to find out how he survived. Also the book provides you a link to Halo 2. The Halo CE ending just shows you how the Master Chief gets off the Halo ring. [Edited on 08.31.2011 7:18 AM PDT]
