So me and my friend are having a pointless argument about the lethality of a barrett 50cal sniper rifle.
he says if you get shot ANYWHERE including like the flippin TOE that you will have a 100% chance of dying.
I told him he is wrong that if you got immediate medical attention you COULD survive and the only thing i could think of would be blood loss if you were shot in the foot.
He claims that it would rip off the limb and you would instantly bleed to death. There was a man who got his arm chainsawed off in my town and he got help about 2 minutes later and he lived.
So here is the question i need cleared up. Can you die if you get shot in the Leg, arm, toe, foot, or any other body part if you can make the bleeding stop and get immediate medical attention?

You're all arguing based on what you've read or THINK you've seen (hunting goats in the mountains =/= shooting taliban in afghanistan) on the internet. Have any of you actually seen the affects of a .50 caliber bullet on a human being first hand? Didn't think so. This entire thread is pointless.
