How do you do the sword lunge in H2?(the glitched one)
title says all.any videos or help will be apreciated.

I'm showing this type because it's the easiest to learn right away and for all my sword flying vids this is the way I did them. I'm not pro like scurty and Monopoli as far as button combo's go. Right trigger and X a lot and you will sword cancel onto the enemies. It works better when they are above you jumping.

I have only the 1.1 update on my original Xbox so can I do it on that one? I thought the 1.5 one was the one that patched the glitch.

[/quote]Sword lunge is where you have an RL and lock onto an enemy and switch weapons to a sword and swipe. You will lunge toward the enemy and no vehicle is used. Other weapons can work too, I like the Brute shot for a sword lunge. For Campaign you can't do butterflying but it's fun on MP.

To sword lunge one just needs to press between rockets and sword (Y button) to switch and then b button pressing after you get a good rhythm, or something like this I haven't done it in a while.

I have a Halo: Combat Evolved Limited Collectors Edition Original Xbox and a 360. On my Original Xbox I have just the map pack disc update. On my 360 I have all the updates. The Original Xbox is the one I play Halo 2 on the most. So just delete everything Halo 2 off my original and it should work?

I would try it by deleting everything but the maps. They are MP so maybe it would work. I will say that I have a 360 that's never been updated and I can fly like crazy.

I'm not sure about the 360 so I don't recommend it unless you don't care about the saves. Clear the cache, delete everything H2 on the HDD and then see. I can't remember ever having to cancel with X so I think that's a different glitch, there were a few involving the energy sword. But it can't hurt to give it a go. Rockets had the longest lock range of any non-scoped weapon.

I could clear the patch for H2,and it will still work.
